Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN), in close cooperation with East China Normal University (ECNU), Shanghai, Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Moderne Schule Hamburg, and the Institute for Quality Development at Schools, Schleswig Holstein (IQSH).
Conference theme
This year's conference will focus on improving students’ creativity in school. Other topics will include the current status of didactics in China and Germany and future perspectives on schooling. The conference will be preceded by visits to German schools on the first two days, intended to provide an insight into current school life.
Keynotes will be held by Prof. Peng Zhengmei and Prof. Li Zhengtao, both from East China Normal University, by Prof. Evelyn Kroesbergen, Radboud University Nijmegen/Netherlands, and Prof. Barbara Moschner, Carl von Ossietzky University, Oldenburg.
